2012 ride to be announced.
We have developed a truly unique format for this year's ride. We will be doing a "Chapter Challenge". Our Chapter is purchasing a Lake Waccamaw Ride Trophy. We are inviting other Chapters to plan their own ride and fundraising efforts. We will have a set time and assembly area in the vicinity of the Lake Waccamaw Boys and Girls Home. We will all ride over together to meet with the kids and present checks. The Chapter that presents the largest check gets to keep the Trophy for the next year. It's not about us...It's about the kids!!
Your contribution of $50.00 or more will get you one of the official Third Annual Lake Waccamaw Ride Shirts with your organization's name listed as a sponsor, a Certificate of Appreciation from Sandhills Chapter 72 of the American Legion Riders, and a memo for consideration when filing taxes and/or listing a charitable contributions for 2012. More importantly, you will have the peace of mind in knowing that you helped make a difference in the life of a Carolina boy or girl in need.
